ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Laboratory Advisor, TRACE, ICAP in Ethiopia. The incumbent will be responsible to The Laboratory Advisor is a focal person for regional training, monitoring and reporting TRACE activities in coordination with the implementation HIV project lab activities and getting direct supervision from the ICAP Regional Director and technical direction on TRACEC from the National TRACE Coordinator in Ethiopia.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Laboratory Advisor, TRACE by February 01, 2020.The successful candidate will hold an Degree in Biomedical/Biological Sciences and at least three years of experience.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record working on US Government-supported PEPFAR programs. The Laboratory Advisor will also have Knowledge about the national quality assurance program on HIV testing is essential, Knowledge about the HIV surveillance system has additional advantage, Previous exposure on working with RHBs, Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), and the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Good analytical and communication skills, Good computing skill
