HRL Quality Officer South Sudan

The incumbent will lead the quality office for HIV Reference Laboratory (HRL) coverage based in PHL/Juba in South Sudan. S/He will manage and monitor the proper functioning of all Quality Management systems activities performed by the HIV Reference Laboratory (HRL), and ensure continuous quality functioning, and quality systems strengthening in line with laboratory professional standards and with ICAP’s mission in South Sudan. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill the HRL Quality Officer position by November 2024.The successful candidate will hold a Degree in Medical laboratory technology or any other related field. Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in clinical or public health setting and implementing lab quality management systems (QMS) or related field (project management training is an added advantage), experience in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HRL - related programs for expanded care and treatment, laboratory services, prevention, and surveillance in resource-limited settings. The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record working on US Government-supported PEPFAR programs including program planning, monitoring and evaluation. The HRL Quality Officer will also have experience working effectively as a part of diverse staff teams, and contributing to successful collaborations with donors, host-country ministries of health, and civil society.
