ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Technical Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist in Brazil. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of all QI project implementation activities as well as QI training, mentoring, supportive supervision and other technical assistance activities in Brazil.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Technical QI Specialist position by January 2022.The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree (MD, RN, PhD, MPH) in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing or related field. They will also hold a minimum 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrated expertise in the implementation of health programs in low-resource international settings and 3 years of relevant QI activities in low-resource settings.

The incumbent will have demonstrated experience in synthesizing and disseminating QI best practices and lessons learned to government officials, implementers and key stakeholders. The Technical QI Specialist will have experience strengthening CQI and supportive supervision processes with government partners in Brazil.
