ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Senior Technical Officer - Brazil. The incumbent will be responsible to manage all technical aspects of ICAP’s programs research, technical assistance and training in Brazil.
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Senior Technical Officer position by January 2022.The successful candidate will hold an MD, or master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, or a PhD in international development, or related field. The candidate will also have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible, professional-level experience managing public health programs with emphasis on HIV/AIDS.
The incumbent will have an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the major issues affecting HIV/AIDS in the Central America region, with in-depth knowledge of the implementation of HIV/AIDS programs in the region. The Senior Technical Officer will also have experience with PEPFAR policy program design, planning and implementation.
