ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Data and Sample Collector – Ebolowa, Cameroon. The incumbent will be responsible for collecting data from survey participants and entering them into the mobile application developed for that purpose; collect blood samples, package them for transport, oversee the processing, and then preparing them for shipment to the central laboratory for analysis.
We are recruiting 3 staff for this region.
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Data and Sample Collector position by September 7, 2020.The successful candidate will have a degree in nursing, laboratory sciences, Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences or any other relevant degrees. He/She will have in data entry, transcription, recording on written or electronic forms. Previous experience entering data for studies using a mobile application will be an asset.
The incumbent will have a demonstrated work experience in the health system, with experience collecting blood samples will be an asset. The Data and Sample Collector will also have excellent oral and written French / English ability with a fluent expression of local languages.
