ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Community Research Officer in Eswatini. The incumbent will be responsible to  for Eswatini Prevention Center-Clinical Research Site (EPC-CRS) mobilization, recruitment and retention of research clinical participants, plan and conduct recruitment activities, identify potential participants on weekdays and weekends, conduct in-person pre-screening for study eligibility, act as community liaison for outreach and education, and conduct other community engagement activities, as needed.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Community Research Officer position by 1st March 2025. The successful candidate must hold a degree or professional equivalent in nursing, epidemiology, public health, social sciences, community development, community mobilization, communication or equivalent. The candidate must have experience with community engagement and community mobilization, engaging CAC and CAB, excellent communication and writing skills. Must be attentive to detail, good time management and multi-tasking skills. And proficient in relevant computer applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher.
