Program Support Specialist in Kazakhstan
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Program Support Specialist – Almaty, Kazakhstan. The incumbent will assist in coordinating work of NGO’s consortium partners and the implementation of the “AMEC” project as well as in coordinating capacity building activities for NGOs to facilitate and support the achievement of UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals, which includes project activities aimed at improving the quality of HIV prevention, testing and treatment services. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Program Support Specialist position by January 2023. The successful candidate will hold a University-level Degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, Law, International Relations or other relevant areas and a minimum three (3) years of practical experience in a field related to project management, community mobilization or civic activism, community development work and civic engagement. The incumbent will have demonstrated ability to work independently, transparently, and responsibly. The candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels. The successful candidate will have written and spoken proficiency in both English and Russian. The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding. Country Director, ICAP in DRC in various locations
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks the services of a Country Director in either Kinshasa or Lubumbashi, DRC. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of ICAP at Columbia University, the Country Director serves as the primary representative in DRC and is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of ICAP’s entire program of technical assistance, research and training. The Country Director leads the implementation and monitoring of ICAP’s portfolio of work in DRC, oversees the technical, programmatic and operational aspects of the country program, manages the optimal use of human, financial and physical resources, and ensures full compliance with donor regulations and requirements and University policies. As ICAP’s senior-most representative in the country, the Country Director will develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with the Government of DRC and will effectively represent ICAP to the government, donors, CDC, PEPFAR and other implementing partners.

Regional Project Management Specialist in Kazakhstan
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Regional Project Management Specialist – Kazakhstan. The incumbent will be responsible to provide support to the Regional Director for Eurasia in the overall management of all aspects of ICAP’s activities in Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, and Central Asia (EECA), including operational planning, budget preparation and monitoring, program implementation and reporting. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Regional Project Management Specialist by May 2023.The successful candidate will hold a Medical degree and/or advanced degree in public health required, epidemiology or related field preferred and a minimum of five (5) years of experience of applied practical experience in the field of public health practice and research, preferably at the regional level. The incumbent will have a good understanding of current global health priorities and emerging health security issues, including infection prevention and control, antimicrobial resistance and epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases. The Regional Project Management Specialist will also have a demonstrated successful experience in developing productive working relationships with counterparts in other agencies and organizations.
