ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Operations officer– Cameroon. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all project-related operations, including supply chain, logistics, and general administrative support functions, to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of program activities. Under the supervision of the Administration and Finance Director, the Operation officer will also be responsible for:

  1. Procurement Planning & Execution

Develop, implement, and maintain trackable project procurement plans to ensure timely availability of required materials.

  1. Supply Chain & Logistics Management

Track multiple deliveries across field locations and make real-time decisions to troubleshoot and resolve supply chain or logistics challenges.

Collaborate with relevant staff and stakeholders on customs clearance, warehousing, and transport procedures.

  1. Inventory & Stock Control

Oversee the implementation of stock control systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer storage recommendations and maintain sufficient stock availability.

 

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Operations officer– Cameroon position as soon as possible. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, APICS) is an advantage and Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably within international NGOs, donor-funded projects, or public health programs
