ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Radiologist/ Radiology Technician – Sierra Leone. The incumbent will support and provide specialized expertise to conduct a needs assessment, develop operational guidelines, training modules, and provide capacity building to health facility staff (radiologists, radiographers, and radiology technicians) for the optimal use, safety, and maintenance of CT Scanner and Ultrasound machines in selected health facilities. The Radiologist/Radiology Technician will ensure that end-users are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively operate and maintain the CT Scanner and Ultrasound machines


 

  • ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Radiologist/Radiology Technician for CT Scanner/Ultrasound position by December 2021.The successful candidate will hold Advanced degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in specialized radiological procedures (CT, Ultrasound) are desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in operating, managing, and training end-users on CT Scanners and Ultrasound units, including hands-on experience in interpreting radiological images.
  • Expertise in developing SOPs and training materials, proficiency in delivering technical training, and strong communication and mentoring skills
