    Community Data Collector- Anga Center Program in Kenya

    ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as The Community Data Collector, Anga Center. This is an urgent position, and applications will be reviewed as they come in closing on 6th February 2026. The Community Data Collectors (CDC) are being hired to collect data for a project entitled “Developing and testing localized, early warning systems for climate vulnerable communities in Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya.” The project will take place over a period of 27 months. The CDCs will report directly to Field Supervisors in the Anga Community Team, who are managed by the Regional Field Coordinator on the Anga Operations team at ICAP in Nairobi, Kenya. Study locations in Kenya (County, Sub-County, Ward) as listed on the JD ( Samburu County, Nakuru County, Kisumu County, Kwale County, Mombasa County, Kisii County) • Please indicate the County in your application The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record have resided in the community in which they are working for at least 5 years. Must currently be living within the specified study ward where they will be assigned to work. Applicants who proceed to the final stages of recruitment will be required to provide proof of residence within the specified ward. • At least 18 years old The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding.
