ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks the services of a Strategic Information and Epidemiology Specialist in Ukraine.  The SI and Epidemiology Specialist will work closely with the Country Representative to oversee all aspects of the surveillance systems strengthening component of the CDC-funded Ukraine Recovery Project.

 

ICAP seeks to fill this key position of Laboratory Specialist which will be based in Kyiv, Ukraine by July 2023. The ideal candidate should possess an Advanced degree in Public Health, International Development, with a specialization in Epidemiology, infectious disease detection, surveillance, and diagnostics. They should also demonstrate experience in implementing field-based surveillance methodologies, including analysis of laboratory data using new or existing methodologies and techniques. The job incumbent should also have experience of and be able to work in a conflict zone.
