The incumbents will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of ICAP’s programs research, technical and data collection in (6 Positions) Busia, Siaya, Nakuru, Meru, Mombasa, Nairobi County and National. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill Research Assistants / Data Collector – Event-Based Surveillance (EBS) Evaluation (6 Positions) in Busia, Siaya, Nakuru, Meru, Mombasa, Nairobi County and National. Please mention the preferred location. Qualifications and Experience • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Epidemiology, or related field. • Experience in qualitative data collection; KII experience preferred. • Experience with electronic data collection platforms (e.g., REDCap) is an advantage. • Knowledge of EBS or IDSR systems is an added advantage. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Willingness and ability to travel within assigned counties. The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record working on US Government-supported PEPFAR programs including program planning, monitoring and evaluation. The Research Assistants / Data Collector will also have experience working effectively as a part of diverse staff teams, and contributing to successful collaborations with donors, host-country ministries of health, and civil society. Previous work experience with ICAP in Kenya is an added advantage.

Community Data Collector- Anga Center Program in Kenya

This is an urgent position, and applications will be reviewed as they come in closing on 6th February 2026. The Community Data Collectors (CDC) are being hired to collect data for a project entitled “Developing and testing localized, early warning systems for climate vulnerable communities in Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya.” The project will take place over a period of 27 months. The CDCs will report directly to Field Supervisors in the Anga Community Team, who are managed by the Regional Field Coordinator on the Anga Operations team at ICAP in Nairobi, Kenya. Study locations in Kenya (County, Sub-County, Ward) as listed on the JD ( Samburu County, Nakuru County, Kisumu County, Kwale County, Mombasa County, Kisii County) • Please indicate the County in your application The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record have resided in the community in which they are working for at least 5 years. Qualitative Analyst in Kenya
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as The EBS Evaluation Qualitative Data Analyst. This is an urgent position, and applications will be reviewed as they come in closing on 31st January 2026. The incumbents will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of ICAP’s programs by providing technical expertise in qualitative research, support data collection quality assurance, and lead qualitative data analysis using the Rigorous and Accelerated Data Reduction (RADaR) approach. The consultant will work closely with the EBS/Study Coordinator to analyze Key Informant Interviews conducted across six counties. This is a Short-term contract (ranging from 1-5 months, renewable subject to performance and funding. Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree or degree or Higher Diploma higher in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record working on US Government-supported PEPFAR programs including program planning, monitoring and evaluation.
