ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Director of Capacity Strengthening by January 2025. The successful candidate will hold a master's degree or its international equivalent in organizational development, public health, social sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 10+ years of relevant technical/project management experience (including 3+ years of leadership and line management skills) in progressively increasing responsibility in design and managing complex, large capacity, and institution-strengthening programs. The incumbent will have strong understanding and previous experience working with, advising, and providing capacity strengthening to national non-governmental organizations/civil society organizations (NNGOs/CSOs) and private sector organizations and demonstrated knowledge of capacity-strengthening methodologies at the system, organization, and individual level. Technical Director in South Sudan
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Technical Director to be based in Juba, South Sudan, for the anticipated USAID-funded activity in South Sudan. He/she will support strategic planning, foster innovation, and use best practices to ensure high-quality implementation and achievement of project deliverables. Reporting to the Chief of Party, the TD is a member of the Senior Management Team of the project. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced South Sudanese candidates to fill the position of Technical Director by January 2025. The successful candidate will lead the anticipated USAID-funded five-year care and treatment activity in South Sudan. He/she will hold an advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, medicine, or a related field with 8–12 years of senior experience in leading technical assistance efforts for HIV and TB prevention, care, and treatment programs in resource-constrained settings; experience in South Sudan or a similar sub-Saharan African context is preferred. The incumbent will have strong, proven record experience working in similar roles in USAID-funded PEPFAR projects. Additionally, they must have demonstrated the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior-level government officials, donors, and multilateral organizations.
