ICAP at Columbia University is an international non-governmental organisation that aims to ensure the wellness of families and communities by strengthening health systems around the world. ICAP in Sierra Leone is hiring a Sonographer to support the rollout of new ultrasound systems, and contribute to capacity-building and clinical training under the MedEd project. The MedEd Imaging Initiative is a flagship collaboration between the Ministry of Health and ICAP at Columbia University aimed at transforming medical education and diagnostic services in Sierra Leone. The project supports the deployment of CT scanners, ultrasound machines, and a digital cadaver lab, accompanied by infrastructure renovations and staff training at key hospitals. The Sonographer will report to the MoH Radiologist and ICAP Technical Lead.

The Strategic Information (SI) and Epidemiology Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, evaluation, and technical assistance in support of program activities in healthcare facilities, focusing on measurement and analysis of infection prevention and control, antimicrobial resistance, and laboratory diagnostics data. The role involves data collection, quality assurance and analysis, preparation of reports and methodological materials, provision of expert guidance to partner facilities, capacity-building through trainings and workshops, and dissemination of the program key performance indicators and reports to stakeholders, including donors and government entities.
