ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist – Kazakhstan. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of all ICAP in-country program activities.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist position by October 2024.The successful candidate will hold a University degree in any of the following fields: Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, International Development, Epidemiology, Computer Science or a related discipline and a relevant work experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, analysis, and reporting, or a related field.

The incumbent will have Understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks, indicators, and methodologies. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in software (e.g., Excel, R, Epi Info, Stata or other) and data visualization tools. The incumbent will have experience with data management systems and databases.
