ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Finance officer– Cameroon. The incumbent will will play a key role in ensuring effective financial management and compliance with ICAP policies and donor requirements. Under the supervision of Senior Finance Officer, the Finance officer will be responsible for:
Payment Management: Prepare and maintain vendor documentation to ensure timely and compliant processing of payments, including those related to trainings, workshops, and other program activities.
Procurement Support: Contribute to procurement processes by preparing purchase orders, Goods Received Notes, and related documents, thereby supporting transparency and accountability in resource utilization.
Financial Controls: Review and verify financial justifications and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational and donor standards.
Asset & Inventory Management: Participate in periodic inventory exercises for ICAP assets, equipment, and stocks, ensuring proper tracking and safeguarding of organizational resources. Inventory management of- office consumables
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Finance officer– Cameroon position as soon as possible. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or its equivalence and at least two years of experience in accounting, procurement in an international NGO or a national project financed by multilateral or bilateral institutions
