ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as HRL Laboratory Officers based in the National Public Health Laboratory in Juba, South Sudan.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of HRL Laboratory Officer by February 01, 2025. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, with in-depth knowledge in Sample Management specifically handling the registration, verification, storage, and dispatch of samples and lab materials, ensuring adherence to SOPs and timely processing. We are looking for a candidate with at least a minimum of 3 years of work experience in clinical or public health settings and implementing quality management systems.

The incumbent will have experience in managing the registration, verification, storage, and dispatch of samples and lab materials in compliance with SOPs, ensuring timely processing. Coordinate the dispatch of test results, address queries professionally, maintain updated contact directories, and act as a liaison with HRL clientele. Perform data reviews, support quality management systems, assist in research initiatives, and uphold a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
