CAMPHIA Technical Intern - Yaoundé / Cameroon (4 positions)

ICAP - Cameroon, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as intern in technical team (04 positions) to support CAMPHIA Project.

Internship Assignments:

The intern shall assist in the following aspects as follows:

  • Assist in the archiving and maintenance of regulatory files for data cleaning.
  • Assist in the adaptation of training materials and SOPs for the survey.  Review data management related documents for accuracy as assigned to Survey TA Director
  • Participate in technical discussion/meetings on data management systems including programming of tablets and development of dashboards.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of detailed deployment and monitoring plans for the field teams
  • Learn and assist to troubleshoot platform-level technology issues that may arise with tablets
  • Assist in the organization of capacity-building workshops for the survey.
  • Assist in any tasks as assigned by the Survey TA Director

 Internship duration: 5 months

The course runs from May 27 to September 30, 2024

The intern will receive a monthly stipend but will not benefit from health coverage or other privileges or immunities in accordance with the organization's rules and procedures in this regard. A valid medical certificate must be provided on arrival. To enable him/her to carry out his/her work more effectively, the intern will be provided with a workspace and Internet access.

Qualifications :

  • The candidate must be a recent holder of minimum a bachelor’s degree in public health, Epidemiology or Biostatistics, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Possess good computer skills;
  • Able to work in a diversified professional environment;
  • Be at least 24 years old;
  • Able to communicate with others while respecting the rules of confidentiality.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills ;
  • Able to work as a team member;
  • Flexible and open to learning new experiences.
  • Respect for diversity and adaptability to other cultures, environments and living conditions;
