Roving Case Finders / Navigators Philippines - Cebu City, Philippines - Iloilo City
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Roving Case Finders / Navigators to be based in affiliated health facilities in Regions 6 & 7 as soon as possible. The Roving Case Finder/Navigator will be seconded to an ICAP supported facility or community-based organization where he/she will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team under direct supervision of the head of the HIV clinic while reporting to ICAP Regional Prevention, Care and Treatment Officer. He/she will conduct facility-based and community outreach activities in areas (referring contiguous CHOs and municipal RHUs) not covered/assigned to the Facility-based Peer Navigator. He/he will coordinate and collaborate with the respective HIV coordinators in the conduct of activities.
Technical Laboratory Officer Philippines - Manila
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks a Technical Laboratory Officer to be seconded to the DOH-DPCB Office in Manila. Working under the supervision of the Department of Health Disease Prevention and Control Bureau in the Philippines, in close collaboration with CDC/ICAP Laboratory Technical Advisors, the Laboratory Officer, will provide technical assistance to strengthen the laboratory component of the National HIV program, working closely with other DOH concerned national and regional offices, including the National Reference laboratory - San Lazaro Hospital/STD AIDS Cooperative Center Laboratory (NRL-SLH/SACCL) and other relevant stakeholders. The Technical Laboratory Officer will be responsible for providing overall technical support to the DOH in improving the HIV laboratory systems and services, strengthen the implementation of national laboratory strategies and activities, organize national level capacity building activities, conduct monitoring or evaluation activities that will lead for the country to reach the UNAID goal of 95-95-95.
