The incumbent will be responsible to provide general office and information-flow management, and secretarial support for all business-related training and other activities/events in Kazakhstan. ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Team Assistant position by mid July 2024.The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the administrative/office management role. The incumbent will have strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize, must have exceptional attention to detail; strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities; and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Roving Case Finders / Navigators in various locations
ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Roving Case Finders / Navigators to be based in affiliated health facilities in Regions 6 & 7 as soon as possible. The Roving Case Finder/Navigator will be seconded to an ICAP supported facility or community-based organization where he/she will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team under direct supervision of the head of the HIV clinic while reporting to ICAP Regional Prevention, Care and Treatment Officer. He/she will conduct facility-based and community outreach activities in areas (referring contiguous CHOs and municipal RHUs) not covered/assigned to the Facility-based Peer Navigator. He/he will coordinate and collaborate with the respective HIV coordinators in the conduct of activities.

Public Health Emergency Management Program Resident in Kazakhstan
U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ICAP at Columbia University announce the recruitment of participants for a new training program titled Eastern Europe Central Asia (EECA) Public Health Emergency management (PHEM) Training Program. The overarching goal is to contribute to the national efforts to strengthen health emergency management systems by building the capacity of in-country workforce to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies efficiently and effectively. The Program will bring together participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Program curriculum includes a blend of workshops, online mentorship and education courses, and networking. The 2024 PHEM Training Program will run from September 2024 through March 2025. By the end of the EECA PHEM Training Program, participants will have developed competencies in applying emergency management framework models to their home country, coordination, planning, communication, partnerships, training, and evaluation. Participants will apply knowledge received during the program to create country-specific plans, recommendations, and/or projects to strengthen country PHEM capabilities. Participants will join a network of PHEM professionals, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices. "The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding. EpiTech Resident in Kazakhstan
U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ICAP at Columbia University announce the recruitment of participants for a new training program titled EpiTech: Data Modernization for Field Epidemiology. The overarching goal is to empower field epidemiologists in leveraging digital tools to enhance their work, consequently contributing to the overall improvement of public health within their respective countries. The 2024 EpiTech Training Program will run from May through August 2024. The Program will consist of two distinct 1-week, in-person training sessions, with fieldwork and support activities conducted between the two sessions. The Program will bring together participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Program curriculum includes a blend of workshops, online mentorship and education courses, and networking. Upon graduation from the Program, participants will be expected to serve as technical mentors for FETPs in the region. "The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding.
